Feds award $3.9 million to 3 Ariz. health clinics Tue Mar 3, 2009

 Wesley Community Center, a 501 (c) 3 located in south central Phoenix, Arizona, provides programs for children, youth, adults, families and senior adults.  Wesley Center is a National Mission Institution of the United Methodist Church and a Primary Partner of the Valley of the Sun United Way.

 PROGRAMS INCLUDE: 

• Centro de Salud (Health Center) providing primary medical care for low-income, uninsured persons through the services of volunteer doctors, interns, and medical assistants.  The clinic is currently open five days a week.
• Weekly Senior Women's Program

• Amigos Center, a satellite center, housed at Calvary United Methodist Church in west Phoenix, offers Adult Education Progams including  English As Second Language, GED, basic computer classes plus  Boy and Girl Scouts Programs.  Click here for more information.  Lucas Cabrera, Director   lcabrera@wccphx.net
