New at Wesley Community Center!

It's Time for Back-To-School Backpacks and School Supplies

Wesley is collecting backpacks for students. Please bring in your contributed items by July 23rd. Backpacks will be distributed to the Summer Program children on July 30th. The week between the 23rd and 30th is needed to sort items and to fill the back packs appropriately.

Needed items:
Backpacks
1” 3-ring binders
24 ct. Crayola boxes
Markers
Pencils
Pens
Erasers
Pocket folders
Manila Organizers
Filler paper
Spiral notebooks
Glue sticks
Glue bottles
Calculators
Rulers
Colored Pencils
Pocket-sized Sanitizers

Optional items to consider:
Socks (ages 5-15)
Underwear (ages 5-15)
Toothbrush
Toothpaste

Sewing Class Needs

The twice weekly sewing classes continue to have immediate needs:

-- Cotton and cotton-blend fabrics  (the classes have lots of knits but no one wants to use them now
-- Universal sewing thread in all colors, in addition to much-needed black and white
-- Iron on interfacing

The Food Pantry is in need of donations, especially during the summer months.
